Method 1.
- Press Home button + Sleep/Wake (top of the phone) for about 10 seconds until Apple logo appears.
- Give it about 10-20 seconds until the Home Screen reappears.
This method works for the following iPhone models:
iPhone (2007), iPhone 3G (2008), iPhone 3GS (2009), iPhone 4 (2010), iPhone 4s (2011), iPhone 5 (2012), iPhone 5c (2013), iPhone 5S (2013), and iPhone SE (2016)
Method 2.
- Press Home button + Sleep/Wake (right side of the phone) for 10 seconds until Apple logo appears.
- Give it about 10-20 seconds until the Home Screen reappears.
This method works for the following iPhone models:

- Quick-press volume up.
- Quick-press volume down.
- Press and hold Sleep/Wake
- Release when Apple logo appears.
